A few years ago, I had the opportunity to develop the concept for, design and build Weeland’s first website. With the release of their new album, the website was given a comprehensive redesign that visually reflects the music collective’s continued evolution.
In terms of design, I drew inspiration from the aesthetic of vinyl records and used it to create a warm, distinctive one-pager—with a retro feel, generous visual areas and a clear structure for music, live dates, press reviews and contact information.
The website brings together all the key content on a single page: album previews, links to the store, live show dates, photos, press reviews, background information on Patrick Wieland, as well as contact and booking information.
My responsibilities included concept development, web design, technical implementation using WordPress and Elementor, as well as the visual structuring and presentation of the content. The result is a streamlined website that clearly showcases Weeland as a music collective and brings together the atmosphere of their album, music and live performances in one coherent visual presence.
